It´s true that nowadays modern living is more a bout hanging out with friends in the kitchen and in the living room while snaking around than formally sitting down at a dining room and to properly eat. I suually try to do the last because it is frandly way more comfortable and personal. Keeping the dining room simple is a sure way to avoid distrations and to focus on your guests. Enjoy!
